When this customer’s college campus restaurant needed a durable new entry, finding the right product that met all of the project requirements presented a challenge. The entry had both concave and convex radial areas that transitioned into long linear zones. It needed a larger radius over 35R, and the tiles needed to withstand high-volume pedestrian foot traffic and snow removal in the winter. Aesthetically, the tile color needed a UV-stable finish that would hold up against all day sun exposure. Working with the customer’s grounds management team, the civil engineering consultant, and the installation contractor, the TufTile technical team recommended our 10-gauge wet-set galvanized steel detectable warning tiles. Installation instructions and job site support were provided throughout the process. The customer and their team are very happy with the results of the installation and appreciative of the support received from TufTile along the way.
